A New Beginning with AI

Life has been crazy. The last post on the original site was just before COVID-19. The world panicked, governments took the opportunity to become more authoritative, punish churches for public worship, not allowing peaceful assemblies (but they did allow “mostly peaceful assemblies from intersectional groups”). This wasn’t everywhere, but it was in most modern progressive countries and US states.
Since then, much has happened. My family has grown. Work has changed significantly. Life got crazy… and then… the AI revolution came. We are still in the midst of it. No major robot apocalypses have occurred. So far, it has been mostly the opposite of all the science fiction movies. Yes, some people have lost their jobs to AI, as they did with computers, cars, and every other major innovation. When was the last time you asked someone what they did for work, and they told you they were a scribe?
One thing that I have found great enlightenment and joy in when it comes to AI is gospel discussion and study. LLMs are great for pattern matching with language, comparing claims and ideologies, and sorting through (with a little coaxing) a lot of the bias in the news of the world.
For quite some time now, heavily for nearly 6 months, but maybe even longer, I have found myself using AI to explore areas of study that would have been out of reach a few short years ago. Cross-referencing Hebrew patterns, restoring historical context, wading through modern religious narrative in comparison to what was known at the time of Joseph Smith or even earlier.
I have decided that it might be good to post some of my more refined thoughts and discussions online by resurrecting this website, with the help of AI.
Many of my posts will be about doctrine, but they are the speculation of my own mind given an assist mostly by Claude Opus. If I am wrong, you should tell me on the social media post that got you here.
Looking forward to posting some of my recent studies soon.

PS, there is an archive to split the old posts from those who are mortally gone, and even some that may be spiritually. I am still here, but figured it would be best to start fresh.
